You are a positive , intelligent principle. We would like to say a big THANK YOU. You are very strong and you make Tamaki Primary proud. I hope you have safe trips around the world. You're very beautiful , confident and also helpful. You're a very good leader to our school . I like the way you have taught us maori songs with great moves. You are really amazing , you mean a lot to Tamaki Primary. You're a very good role model.

You have showed us a lot of pride, have made sure we represent our school as good people not bad people.

My Netbook Reflection For 2013

The Bush

Feeling excited and prepared to go for a long walk into the bushes made my day. So first we made our lunch and our drinks, Then the teaches got all the kids together and done a head count just in case someone was missing. Once everyone was there we got into two lines. Everyone was feeling confident and brave because for some of us it was our first time going for a bush walk.

As we got into the bushes the leaves were slowly falling off the trees , hearing crunching noises from all the footsteps of dried leaves sounded awesome .We were all walking into two straight lines through the bush there was a teacher in front of the line, in the middle and at the back. We were showing people how we respect the environment around us. As people were coming towards us we made way even those the bush was quite small.

We were following the principle no one had no idea we were going so she walked the wrong way, but eventually someone told her.She said don’t be silly we looked at the closes sign and it said we were going to the creek.Every one was like the creek.

No way! we replied

So we turned around and we made sure we followed the sign all the way to the waterfall. It took us about twenty minutes to get there , once we finally got there we sat anywhere we liked so I sat in front of the waterfall. I was skimming rocks across the water. It was so beautiful and everyone enjoyed their day.

Verse 1	The main idea in verse 1 is that we all have pain and sorrow	“If we were wise”	“Theres always tomorrow”	Yes. We agree with this part of the song because some people focus on vanity and on each others physical appearance instead of reality.
Chorus	One of the main message I found in this lyric is when you’re down theres is always someone there to help you	“Lean on me when your not strong ill be your friend”	“It won’t be long till ill need someone to lean on”	I agree with what this verse is trying to tell me because no matter what your going through you’ll always have that someone to help pull you through
Verse 2	One of the main points is helping and being thoughtful	“So just call on me brother hey, when you need a hand”	“we all need somebody to lean on, lean on me”	I agree with the main points in this verse because no matter how hard something is you can always take risks with those who are willing to make them with you.
Verse 3	Main point is being courage and having faith	“Call me when you need a friend”	“Call me, call me”	I agree because some ones always there when you need them you just don’t have to be shy to ask
Verse 4	The main point in be verse 4 is don’t be shy	“Lean on me”	“We all need somebody to lean on”	I agree with this because everyday you will get through this, tomorrows new day and there is still people being ashamed of themselves for who they've become

My highlight of the year for 2013 is learning new things

at Technology like  Art.

We did mosaic for decorations to make

our school beautiful .

to you all.Today I will be talking about peace and

happiness.Happiness is when someone smiles its

like freedom.Peace isn't about fighting its a state

or period in which there is no war or a war is ended.

Smile when you're down. This song I choose includes

peace and happiness.What I will be talking about is

This song reminds me of my friends and family,

It opens the lock for freedom and it even reminds

me to smile through tough times or when I’m sad.

Having a problem though life is tough but I have

families and friends that can help me.

This is one of my favourite songs It always reminds

me to smile every day most times I smile with

happiness because I see my family and friends when

I barely see them. This is an entertaining song it gets

the audience attention and maybe they replay it a lot

of times.

“Peace” Peace reminds people to smile when they're

down. Don’t make war with each other make friendship

and aroha with friends and family. When the power of

love overcomes the love of power the world will finally

know peace. Peace is like friendship ,  friendship is

like peace. It’s like they have the same meaning.

Harmony is the same as peace , everyone in the world wants

peace. I know everyone has war everyday,even myself have

wars with others. but why does everyone have to hate? Is it

hard to love? people should not make war anymore, and no

more hatred? Let’s make the world a peaceful place.

High Tide

High Tide

Skimming the rocks along the water

standing beside you ,

seeing the sand oozing between our toes

giggling and laughing as we stand still to strike a pose,

When the tide is in ,

It rushes against the rocks with anger

higher and higher it travels ,

wiping the sand out

now  it’s under the water,

low low low.

The water has vanished,

 our footprints lying on the wet sand

leaving the ocean,

lonely and sad.

Rhythm, Raps and Rhymes

Making a flower

first we grab a round cloth after that the teacher handed the strings and a needle to us.we had to freed the string into the needle after that we tied it into a knot so we can start making some flowers. Ngatokurua and Vinny done some team work, we both worked together and freed the string and the needle into the cloth.in and out until we got to the end of the circle.We garbed a button and sodded it until it was tight.

Camp

At camp was really exciting for all the year 8s they all enjoyed themselves.We all had fun.Hope you like my presentation.

Fireworks

As he lit the fire works, the first thing I was was a red  spark going out, every one counting from 5 downwards 5,4,3,2,1 blast stop they all yelled, I could see people stopping on the side of the road to watch the fireworks, I could also see the calm water going smoothly around the boats.I could taste the candy floss from the people that was making it,also the popcorn in the popcorn maker was making me hungry .As the firework hit the air above everyone cheering with laughter, I could see that it was getting darker and the fireworks was getting brighter, the lights started to turn on too. I could smell the toe jams from the peoples toes, and also smell Chinese food it was making my stomach saw so I walked to some chairs that smelt like piss, gorse. Even more fireworks were shooting very beautifully.

Flying Carpet

                           The magic flying carpet

Later that day my sister came to visit me.We were giggling, watching t.v and playing catch with my dog.My sister notest my carpet, she said lets go some where.As we were in the car listening to the beauty of the music and singing along was great.When we got to this place the first thing I saw was,the carpets store.

I said “I don't need a new carpet”

she said “oh yes you do and i'm taking you inside right now!”

“I answered politely okay then lets just go for a look”

we walked inside this beautiful store

she said “you can get any carpet but just one”

I replied okay

I was looking around the room.At that moment I saw this very beautiful capet hiding behind the other capets when I saw the colours they looked stunning. She brought it for 60 dollars. When we got home I said thanks sis I like it .that afternoon I was cleaning, and putting the old carpet in it bin then placed the new carpet on the ground in my room.by the time I putted the carpet down she said bye Ngatos im going home now.I replyed bye.

I sat on my carpet.laying on it with happiness.Later that night I went to cook some food.

After a while I finished eating. The carpet sparkled like magic.That night I went to bed I had a dream that the carpet could fly in the sky and the bestest part of it was when I was on it, near the moon.

As I woke up.Then I had another dream about winter,summer,autumn and spring.The bestest part about the winter,summer,autumn and spring was winter when there was snow falling down from the sky.I jumped on the carpet but it did not fly I tryed every thing.But it did not work.

I looked behind the carpet it said this little quote that said magic magic carpet fly into the sky

When I said that quote the magic carpet flew, Near the moon.I could feel the cold breeze smashed on my face,the trees swishing back and forth, Great looking houses, schools and much much more.Meanwhile I was quite scared because i'm scared of heights.When I got home I rang my sister as fast as I could and told her to come.When she got to my house I told her that the carpet could fly.She nevers believe me thats the only thing i hate about her.

when we were on the carpet I said the I told you that's magic.
